The mark of responsible forestry

Pine Forest Lumber Company is proud to offer Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified products. To be able to offer such products, Pine Forest has been accredited by the council through an application and annual on-site audit and tracks its certified lumber material through the manufacturing process.

Chain-of-Custody (COC) is the path taken by raw materials from the FSC-certified source through processing, manufacturing, distribution, and printing until it is a final product ready for sale to the end customer. This certification allows companies to manufacture and market forest products labeled with the FSC brand. Consumers can then identify products that provide an assurance of social and environmental responsibility on the part of the producer.
